By using the Kichat Services, you agree to these Terms and all related policies (e.g., Privacy Policy). Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Kichat Services.
1. What Are the Kichat Services?
The Kichat Services are an independent third-party software ecosystem designed to provide an alternative chat experience integrated with the kick.com platform. The Kichat Services include:
Kichat Program: A desktop application that runs on your device and supports kick.com chat features.
Kichat Proxy API: An independent proxy system that enables developers to securely integrate with kick.com.
Kichat Connect: A browser extension that securely transfers kick.com cookies to the Kichat program.
Kichat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with kick.com. The Kichat Services operate with full respect for kick.com’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Terms of Use
When using the Kichat Services, you must comply with the following rules:

You may use the Kichat Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
You must use the Kichat Services in accordance with kick.com’s Community Guidelines, DMCA Policy, Privacy Agreement, and Terms of Service.
You may not misuse the Kichat Services, disrupt the services, or attempt unauthorized access.
2.2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of your account and authentication tokens.
You must ensure that any content you share through the Kichat Services (e.g., chat messages) is legal and appropriate.
By using the Kichat Services, you agree to comply with kick.com’s policies.
2.3. Prohibited Behaviors
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
Attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or copy the source code of the Kichat Services.
Using the Kichat Services for illegal, harmful, or infringing activities that violate the rights of others.
Using the Kichat Proxy API or other components in a way that disrupts kick.com’s services.
3. Data Usage and Security

Authentication Tokens: The Kichat program stores tokens in an encrypted format in a Supabase database for session management.
Kichat Connect: Collects only kick.com cookies and securely transfers them (via localhost) to the Kichat program.
Kichat Proxy API: Stores IP addresses and request timestamps for 24 hours for rate limiting and DDoS protection; this data is not shared or sold.
Security: Your data is protected with HTTPS and system-level encryption (e.g., keychain), but no 100% security guarantee can be provided against threats arising from internet infrastructure.

6. Termination of Services
By You: You may stop using the Kichat Services at any time. To request deletion of your data, please contact us at encoderpie@gmail.com.
By Us: If you fail to comply with these Terms, Encoderpie may suspend or terminate your access to the Kichat Services. In such cases, data associated with your account may be deleted.
7. Disclaimer and Limitations
“As Is” Provision: The Kichat Services are provided “as is.” Encoderpie does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability: Encoderpie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Kichat Services.
Internet Risks: While the Kichat Services use security measures such as HTTPS and encryption, no 100% protection can be guaranteed against security threats arising from internet infrastructure.

Encoderpie may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Kichat program, Kichat Connect extension, or our website (https://kichat.dev). By continuing to use the Kichat Services, you agree to the updated Terms.
